• Why did you decide to become an SLP? I became an SLP because I knew I wanted to make a difference in the lives of children. I shadowed a wonderful SLP who has become my mentor along my journey and she showed me how much fun our career can be! Now I get to “play” all day everyday while making a positive impact in other’s lives.

  • What is your SLP superpower? My SLP superpower is the ability to tailor my therapy approach to each child and family’s needs. I am passionate about parent coaching and education to allow for wrap around services. I like my families to know we are a team and we can achieve anything together!

  • What do you like to do for fun? I love to hang out with my husband, children, and friends on the weekends! I love riding around on my golf cart enjoying my little town.

  • What do you love about TeamUp Therapy? I love the TeamUp allows for therapy to happen from the “natural” environment within our homes. I think it is so amazing we have the ability to do tele-therapy and can then utilize real life tangible items from everyday routines. It gives us a little “scope” into each families’ unique needs and their real life situations outside of a traditional therapy setting.

  • Areas of interest: I am passionate about working with patient’s and their families in a 1:1 setting. I feel this allows for personalized and productive therapy. I love addressing and working on functional skills that can be carried over to all environments and aspects of life. I love watching my kids grow and achieve their goals!
