• Why did you decide to become an SLP? I have always been drawn to professions that help people. As a child, I wanted to be a surgeon but as I got older and realized maybe that wasn’t what I truly wanted I started to search for other careers/professions where I could help others. I myself had received speech therapy as a child and it didn’t take me long to realize this was my calling. I am passionate about giving a voice to those who don’t easily have one.

  • What is your SLP superpower? My superpower as an SLP is my ability to adapt to the needs of both the patients I work with but also their families and make learning fun! I have a passion for helping individuals find their voice in any way possible.

  • What do you like to do for fun? I like to read and go on walks. With my family, I like to have game nights where we play board games or video games. Things can get a little competitive, especially when we play Mario Kart!

  • What do you love about TeamUp Therapy? I love that TeamUP Therapy is able to support so many families in a way that may not have been possible a few years ago. I love the passion everyone at TeamUp has for helping children and families reach their goals!
