• Why did you decide to become an OT? I became an OT because I’ve always been interested in holistic wellness and what makes a meaningful life. OT is all about physical, cognitive and social-emotional wellness and helping people engage in meaningful activities to improve participation and independence in daily life.

  • What is your OT superpower? My superpower is being proactive and super organized in curating engaging treatment resources. I’m always adding to my collection of therapy activities to support executive functioning, emotional regulation, fine motor skills, feeding, and more.

  • What do you like to do for fun? I love to recreate desserts out of healthier ingredients, like sweet potato brownies and mint chocolate chip ice cream made with frozen cauliflower, bananas, spinach, mint extract and dates! If you didn’t know, you’d never guess!

  • What do you love about TeamUp Therapy? I love the positive, cheerful spirits of the team and the genuine passion for serving families through speech and occupational therapy services regardless of geographical location.

  • Areas of interest: Executive functioning, emotional regulation, sensory based feeding challenges, handwriting, fine motor skills, primitive reflex integration, social skills
