Why did you decide to become an SLP? I decided to become a SLP after working at a school for children with significant behavior concerns. I saw the connection between behavior and communication and knew I wanted to provide communication support.

What is your SLP superpower? I enjoy working with students with behavioral needs related to their communication. I feel that I have a strong background in providing parent coaching with both early intervention and higher support needs populations

What do you like to do for fun? Reading, gardening, baking, spending time with my family

What do you love about TeamUp Therapy? I love that TeamUp provides an opportunity for families in rural areas to access high-quality services. As someone who grew up in a rural area in Florida, I understand the hurdles to accessing quality care.
