• Why did you decide to become an OT? I have cerebral palsy, and I grew up attending many therapy appointments. I wanted to give back to kids and their families in the same way therapists had provided for me.

  • What is your OT superpower? My OT superpower is my ability to relate to and connect with children with differing abilities. I have lived through some similar challenges that they face, and I am able to provide encouragement and guidance to tackle those challenges.

  • What do you like to do for fun? I enjoy being outdoors with my husband and family. I love kayaking, fishing, hiking, boating, downhill skiing, and hunting. I also have more mellow hobbies that include cooking and baking sourdough bread, reading, cross-stitch and embroidery, and gardening.

  • What do you love about TeamUp Therapy? I love how invested Chris and Ashley are in providing great services to families. I love that children who may not otherwise be able to receive weekly therapy services are able to because of the remote set-up TeamUp Therapy has. I am sure I will have numerous other things that I love about TeamUp Therapy once I begin working with the team.

  • Areas of interest: I enjoy working with kids and their families to address needs in all areas, but I especially enjoy addressing feeding and oral motor skills, sensory processing, and handwriting and other fine motor and visual motor challenges.
