Why did you decide to become an SLP? My passion for speech-language pathology began after observing therapy sessions for a close friend who sustained a traumatic brain injury. Seeing the life-changing impact communication can have inspired me to pursue a career helping others find their voice.
I especially love working with children and watching their confidence grow as they become effective communicators. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child’s face light up when they master a new skill and are able to express themselves successfully!

What is your SLP superpower? My SLP superpower is building strong rapport with students and creating engaging therapy sessions that help them feel comfortable, confident, and excited to participate. When students feel at ease, they are more willing to communicate, take risks, and ultimately experience greater success in therapy.

What do you love about TeamUp Therapy? What I love most about TeamUp Therapy is their mission of providing high-quality therapy services to children no matter where they live. Being from a rural area, I have seen firsthand how difficult it can be for families to access therapy services due to long commutes and limited local resources. I admire TeamUp’s passion for making therapy more accessible for children while also creating a supportive environment for therapists to grow and succeed.
