• Why did you decide to become an SLP? Through volunteering with the Miracle League, an organization for individuals with disabilities, I discovered my passion for working with children and adults who have disabilities. I was inspired to seek a career where I would be able to help make a difference in the lives of those who have disabilities, and then I found the field of speech-language pathology. I chose to become a speech-language pathologist in order to be able to help others learn how to communicate more effectively and functionally. I have experience working with both the pediatric and adult populations, but my passion has always been working with the pediatric population! I love getting to help little ones reach their milestones and making a difference in the lives of children and their families!

  • What is your SLP superpower? My SLP superpower is being relatable and forming genuine connections as I foster authentic relationships with each child and their caregivers. In doing so, it helps the caregiver feel more comfortable and confident in me helping their child achieve their goals. It also helps improve the child’s ability to learn new skills and reach their goals when they have a strong connection with their SLP.

  • What do you like to do for fun? I love to quality spend time with my husband, family, and friends! I also enjoy staying active and traveling.

  • What do you love about TeamUp Therapy? I love being able to provide convenient speech therapy services to children and their families in their natural environment!
