• Why did you decide to become an SLP? I was working in an early intervention classroom as a teacher’s aide in college and fell in love with speech therapy and with working in a multidisciplinary team of therapists. I felt like I was learning something every day from the team and clients they served. Every client I have treated as left an impact on me as a clinician. It’s such a heartwarming field to be in.

  • What is your SLP superpower? Helping my clients stay engaged by finding out what interests them. Bluey, Pokemon, the latest score of the Tampa Bay Bucs football game… I’m always doing my research to relate to my clients.

  • What do you like to do for fun? I love spending time with my family. I’m a first time mom and love watching my baby grow up. I also love reading just about any genre and fishing when it’s not too hot!

  • What do you love about TeamUp Therapy? I love working for a company and with a team of people that are such positive and compassionate people that truly love to make a difference in the lives of their clients and families. I also think it’s great that we can provide services from the comfort of their own home.

  • Areas of interest: I love working with clients and families to support phonological disorders, apraxia of speech, literacy skills, and early intervention.
