• Why did you decide to become an OT? My mom was diagnosed with reflex sympathetic dystrophy in her hand after a car wreck and I saw how an occupational therapist was able to give my mom back her independence. I saw how occupational therapy was able to help her get back the most basic activities of daily living and how much it meant to my mom to get the “little things” back.

  • What is your OT superpower? The ability to analyze an activity and break it down into smaller parts to allow my clients to make progress and build their confidence all while using everyday items in their home environment.

  • What do you like to do for fun? For fun I like to spend time with my family, my horses, and my dogs.

  • What do you love about TeamUp Therapy? From day one I have been absolutely amazed at how caring everyone at TeamUp Therapy has been and how they are with you each step of the way. It is truly a gift to work for a company with people that care the way that they do and are there for you when you need them.

  • Areas of interest: My areas of interest are fine motor, visual motor, visual perceptual skills, sensory processing, autism, play skills, developmental skills and exploring neurodevelopmental treatment techniques (among many others).
