Why did you decide to become an OT? I knew from an early age that I wanted to work in the medical field, specifically in rehabilitation. I truly fell in love with occupational therapy once I began learning its core principles, helping people participate in everyday activities that are meaningful and purposeful to them. The holistic approach of treating the whole person resonated deeply with me, and I knew occupational therapy was the right career path for me.

What is your OT superpower? I believe connecting with families has been one of my greatest strengths. Listening to and understanding their wants and needs is what truly guides my treatment approach. Building those relationships allows me to provide more individualized, compassionate, and effective care.

What do you like to do for fun? First and foremost, I am a mom and a wife, so most of my joy and fun come from spending time with my family. I have a 30-year-old son and two daughters who are 28 and 19, and we are really enjoying the friendship aspect of parenthood now, which has been one of my greatest blessings.
I’m originally from Buffalo, so naturally I am a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan and even have season tickets to games back home. Outside of that, you can usually find me exploring around town. I love the Atlanta BeltLine, spending time in Roswell and Alpharetta, and we also spend a lot of time out on the lake.

Areas of interest: I am passionate about helping children and families live their best lives. I strongly value promoting independence within natural environments and focusing on skills and activities that are meaningful and purposeful to each child and family. Supporting participation in everyday life while empowering families is what makes this work so rewarding to me.
