• Why did you decide to become an OT? I love children and people! It was a wonderful discovery to know that there was a career where I could positively impact children and their families, especially during some of the most challenging circumstances they may face. By coming alongside them and supporting them with not just skills but also relationships, I could help foster more holistic healing. It’s pretty fun to get to play on the job every day too! 🙂

  • What is your OT superpower? I love being able to encourage families and to give them hope by offering skills, creativity, and perhaps a “think outside of the box” perspective that can foster the most successful path toward their child’s development and independence.

  • What do you like to do for fun? I love being outdoors: walking, visiting flower farms and nature trails, but the beach has my whole heart! I love writing, reading, doing coffee shop “tours,” and traveling to places I’ve never been. Being with the people I love is what I cherish most of all.

  • What do you love about TeamUp Therapy? I love Team Up Therapy’s origin story. They have lived what our families experience up close and personally. This makes them a different kind of therapy company, and it shows in what they’ve built and in what they value. They are very supportive of their therapists and their clients. They foster excellence while also making everyone feel like family.
