• Why did you decide to become an OT? My path to Occupational Therapy began at home. My younger brother was born with Down Syndrome, and growing up just five years apart, I had a front-row seat to his journey. I saw firsthand the challenges he faced, but more importantly, I saw the profound impact that dedicated therapy had on his success and our family’s well-being.

  • What is your OT superpower? My greatest strength as a therapist is the ability to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and the lived experience of a caregiver. Having navigated the complexities of developmental support within my own family, I bring a unique dual perspective to my practice. I don’t just see the clinical goals on paper; I understand the day-to-day realities, emotional nuances, and functional challenges that families face. This allows me to provide care that is not only evidence-based and professional but deeply empathetic and practical for the real world.

  • What do you like to do for fun? Spending time with my family, crafting and trying out new restaurants (my husband and I are big foodies!)

  • What do you love about TeamUp Therapy? I love that TeamUp is creating opportunities for access to services and relieving parents of the stress of finding a place to get help!

  • Areas of interest: I’ve spent the last 12+ years working alongside incredible children and young adults at every developmental stage. Whether navigating a new diagnosis like Autism or ADHD or managing long-term developmental disabilities like Down Syndrome, I am here to provide steady, expert care.

I have a particular heart for working with teenagers. I believe this age group is often overlooked, and I love the unique energy they bring. My mission is to help teens bridge the gap to independence by focusing on essential life skills and ADLs, empowering them to reach their full potential in their daily lives.
