Why did you decide to become an SLP? I was first introduced to the field of speech language pathology by a friend who works as an SLPA. She highlighted the significant need for bilingual SLPs in our community. After learning more about her work, I found the field both fascinating and meaningful…especially the opportunity to work with pediatric populations. I’ve always loved working with children, and helping them find and use their voice to communicate is rewarding.

What is your SLP superpower? As a bilingual speech therapist, I love to connect with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds and support their communication goals in both English and Spanish.

What do you like to do for fun? In my free time, I enjoy going on walks, spending quality time with my sisters, and stargazing via telescope with my husband and son.

What do you love about TeamUp Therapy? What I appreciate most about the company is the flexibility and commitment to meeting patients where they feel most comfortable…right in their own homes.
