Why did you decide to become an SLP? I initially wanted to become a pharmacist; however, after taking the courses for pharmacy, I didn’t enjoy it as much. I then went to Auburn University’s career counseling center to get assistance with selecting a major. After taking an assessment that matches my personality with careers, a speech-language pathologist was one of the careers selected for me. I decided to take introductory SLP courses in college, and I immediately fell in love with the field!

What is your SLP superpower? I am both sympathetic and empathetic. I am also very organized and punctual with tasks.

What do you like to do for fun? I love to traveling, shopping, reading, and spending time with family/friends.

What do you love about TeamUp Therapy? I love the background story of how this company was started. I also love the support and communication from the administrative team!
